We had such an amazing time at the Canadian Closed Dancesport Championships this past weekend in Calgary that I’m pretty sure we all slept for a solid 12 hours when we got home.
A successful drive through the Canadian Rockies made travel pretty easy with the beautiful weather. Passing through Banff is always a highlight. My husband wasn’t too keen on going to the chocolate AND the rock & gem store, so we basically just ate and left.
(I didn’t bother taking nicer pics because I was lazy hahaha).
This time we had two tables for a booth set up which was much better, and I’m certain a lot easier for people to see the designs without them having to be so crammed together.
I absolutely love when people come by the booth and we get to interact with them – something we lose a little with an on-line store. I had a few discussions with some ladies about hair ornaments that can go around a bun, so this is a concept we’re going to start working out to see if we can come up with a design solution that is convenient and versatile enough to accommodate different bun shapes. We’ll definitely be making a post once we come up with something 🙂
And of course – watching all the fabulous dancing is always a real treat. Also it’s a great opportunity to collect photos of our lovely sparkling clients of all ages and levels… so you’ll be able to find some of those photos in our facebook “sparkling clients” album (and if you’re reading this, and you wear our jewelry AND have photos… don’t be shy to send them our way to post as well!).
So this week we’re cleaning up shop and getting ready to make new batches of accessories.
