It’s always exciting to see what kind of new stuff Swarovski comes out with as they continually explore shapes and colours in crystal and other elements. They aren’t always the most applicable for our own designs, but it’s still exciting and a lovely source of inspiration.
The fall/winter 2017/2018 collection has some of these wild gems:
(Sometimes I wish we made tiaras.)
They have great potential for earrings, however (depending on their size).
Coming soon is also the Shimmer effect available in 15 colours in the 2088’s (the small flatback round ones that are mostly used for our jewelry and costumes alike). These will shimmer three shades of the same colour and were designed for things like dancesport. We’ve preordered a couple of these and very much look forward to seeing these up close!
