Ballroom bangle bracelets are fairly accessible, and there are many bangle-makers out there and even some DYI tutorials. They are definitely a fun project – and in fact this is how our shop started! We wanted to accommodate our friend dancers who didn’t have time or resources to make them themselves.
Since, we’ve branched out to create what we consider now our specialties like headbands, bespoke designs, and a massive array of hair accessories. While we don’t make as many ballroom bangles as we used to, we still like to keep a few in stock and vamp up the design ideas. (We can always custom-make one for a desired size and colour/colour-combo -with no extra charge- so feel free to email us should you want one for yourself!)
We had so much fun stitching out various lacy applique designs in all sorts of shapes and colours:
And once they are finished, the result is quite stunning. They area a bit labour-intensive considering all the steps, but having said that, we definitely enjoyed making them anyway! The combination of the the applique with stones around a bangle and working with so much colour was a lot of fun.
